How to Reset Your Xiaomi Xiaoyi Action Camera if WiFi not Working

Before this i faced a problem with my Xiaomi Xiaoyi action cam. It was WiFi problem. Every time i switch it on and turn on WiFi it does not working and only show blue light without blinking. I can't connect my action cam to my iPhone at all. At first i'm trying to update firmware but fail.

 After that, i'm trying to figure out how to fix it via youtube and i found one solution. It need to be reset to get back the WiFi. Here's how to reset it.

How to Reset Your Xiaomi Xiaoyi Action Camera

  1. Make sure you already take out your Micro-SD card
  2. Turn on Xiaomi cam and wait for light at power button finish blinking
  3. To reset it press both power and WiFi button for 5 seconds
  4. Wait until beep sound beeping for 5 times and the camera will shut down itself
  5. Put back Micro-SD card and turn on your action cam
  6. Turn on WiFi and wait for 5 seconds until the blue light start blinking again
  7. Try connect your action cam to your smartphone
  8. Done.

    hi,i got yi home camera. it only works while i have wifi, it doesnt work while i use data. what can i do? thank you!

      Try to follow instruction how to reset camera at above and try to re-connect again using default password 1234567890
