Samsung Agree To Pay Apple $548 Million Due to Patent Infringement


Patent disputes between Samsung and Apple have taken place over the years, and now finally after about five years, Samsung agreed to pay Apple about $548 million.
Apple previously sued Samsung in 2011, where one of them is due to their smart phone patent infringement, which include multi-touch gesture functions as well as tap-to-zoom. At that time, Apple is suing Samsung for $2.5 billion, but after going through the process in court, they awarded the patent payment of $1 billion. However, the matter was also made appeals and various other processes - so that the latest Samsung agreed to pay $548 million.

At the same time, through a statement released by Samsung, they said have the right to take back some of their money in the future under a number of reasons - especially if the case was entered into the court again.
